Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking a service with LEC Cleaning Services Ltd. They form the basis of the contract between you (the client) and us, outlining our responsibilities and yours to ensure a clear understanding of our professional cleaning services in Kendal and Cumbria.
1. Booking and Cancellation
Booking a cleaning service with LEC Cleaning Services Ltd is straightforward. You can arrange a service through our website's contact form, directly via email, or by calling our Kendal office at +441539735513. A confirmed booking occurs once we have mutually agreed upon the service date, time, and scope of work, and you have received a booking confirmation from us.
We understand that plans can change. However, to ensure fairness to our cleaning professionals and other clients, we operate a strict cancellation policy:
- Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice before the scheduled service appointment will incur a fee equivalent to 50% of the originally agreed service cost.
- No-shows or cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged the full service fee.
- Rescheduling requests should ideally be made at least 48 hours in advance. We will always endeavor to accommodate your new preferred time, subject to availability.
2. Pricing and Payment
Our pricing is transparent and competitive, reflecting the high quality and thoroughness of our cleaning services. Quotes are provided either as a fixed price for specific services (e.g., deep cleaning, end-of-tenancy) or based on an hourly rate for more flexible services, depending on the initial consultation. All quotes will clearly outline what is included in the price, ensuring no hidden surprises.
We accept various payment methods for your convenience, including bank transfer, credit/debit card payments, and cash on completion. Payment is typically due upon completion of the service. For larger commercial contracts or extensive specialist cleans, an upfront deposit may be required, which will be stipulated in your service agreement.
3. Client and Company Obligations
Client's Responsibilities:
- To provide access to the property at the agreed time.
- To ensure a safe working environment, including providing access to electricity and hot running water.
- To secure any pets and move fragile or valuable items to a safe place prior to our arrival.
- To communicate any specific cleaning instructions or areas of focus in advance.
LEC Cleaning Services Ltd's Responsibilities:
- To provide highly trained, reliable, and professional cleaning operatives.
- To supply all necessary cleaning equipment and eco-friendly supplies, unless specifically agreed otherwise (e.g., preference for client's specific products).
- To perform services with utmost care and attention to detail.
- To uphold our satisfaction guarantee – if you're not happy, we'll make it right.
4. Liability and Complaints
LEC Cleaning Services Ltd is fully insured with comprehensive public liability insurance, providing peace of mind in the unlikely event of accidental damage. While we take every precaution, should any damage occur during our service, we commit to a fair resolution process.
Our satisfaction guarantee is central to our service. If you are not completely satisfied with an aspect of our cleaning, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion. We will then arrange to re-visit and rectify the issue at no additional charge.
